The Pillnitz Chronotopes Tour, 2023AR sound walk in collaboration with Leoni Fischer.
What can the collection learn from the garden? The ‘Pillnitz Chronotpes Tour’ is an audio-tour and augmentedreality- experience dealing with the temporal interrelations of objects, plants and humans at the Pillnitz palace and pleasure garden. listen here

The starting point of the journey is marked by the observation of a variety of human- and plant-made support structures throughout the park – may it be the bold iron spine of a 300-years old Citrus Aurantium, the white phyto-sunscreen on the Fernleaved Copper Beech, or its’ self-grown crooks.  Along the way, the tour reflects on plants as well as objects as everevolving manifestations of time that are deeply embedded within their surrounding Chronotopes. The Biotope of time, that is! For the augmentedreality- experience listeners are led into the Yellow Tea Room in the Riverside Palace. By letting the plant-made support structures of the garden’s fern-leaved copper beech mingle with the white interiors of the room, the ARexperience branches the gap between park and palace and opens up new ways to think about plants and objects as fragile and aging entities.
